The Azienda Agricola Alagia Biagio is a historical agricultural company in Lombardy, a leading player in the cultivation and sale of native forest plants characteristic of the region. The company is located in Buscate, in the heart of the Ticino Park, a green space just a few minutes from Legnano, Busto Arsizio, Milan and Malpensa.
The desire to innovate and bring people back to the land, together with their passion for sustainable farming techniques, led to the launch of the ‘DRUANTIA – Be Green, Eat Well, Live Cool’ project.
The name ‘Druantia’ derives from a Celtic deity from Insubria, who was associated with the Oak and considered the Queen of the Druids. It protected trees and fertility, creativity and knowledge.
The producers’ aim is to transform the farm into a multifunctional hub where agricultural production will combine with educational and convivial moments, raising people’s awareness of the values of living in the open air and healthy eating.
