The story of the Longo family began six decades ago. Thanks to the intuition of the founders Consiglio and Carla Longo, they created a large family business back in 1961. Three brothers who make food and wine their world, combining skills and expertise. Giovanni, Osvaldo and Paola together, in 1983, set up the Enoteca Longo in Legnano, now in its brand new premises in Via Lega on the corner of Giolitti, where national and international labels are present, as well as a selection of gourmet products from all over Italy.

The successes rewarded great teamwork: in 2000 Enoteca Longo was awarded in Rome with the Oscar del Vino in the category “Best Wine Shop in Italy’, while in 2014 the brothers were awarded the Oscar del Vino as ‘pioneers and creators of an ambitious corporate gifting project based on the values of Italian agri-food craftsmanship, during a 30-year career that saw them start very young, have contributed in a decisive way to the valorisation of Italian wine, making it a protagonist as a prestigious gift’.

In fact, the Enoteca is just one part of the Longo cosmos, which is also composed of Longo Speciality, whose core business is wine and food gifts dedicated to the corporate promotion of important customers, from small local businesses to multinationals. The new generations also make their valuable contribution to ensuring that the company proceeds successfully, each providing their expertise for the development and growth of the Enoteca.
