Among the various malts, Crystal, Chocolate, and Amber types stand out, combined with carefully measured sugars and a light hopping, making this beer truly unique in its kind. With its warm brown color and enticing purplish highlights, it is crowned by a beige and compact foam.
The aromas range from fruity, such as banana and raisin, to chocolate and toasted hazelnuts, ending with the subtle spicy notes typical of Trappist yeast. On the palate, its soft and complex taste is accompanied, but never overshadowed, by the sweetness of the fruit. A delicately dry finish provided by the roasted malts.
Recommended gastronomic pairings: mussels and scallops, even gratinéed, white meats with sauces and eggs, dark chocolate.
