Part of the proceeds will in fact go as a donation to the Ticino Olona Community Foundation, philanthropic organisation that has been working since 2006 in the western part of the province of Milan – particularly in the areas of Legnanese, of Castanese, of Magentino   and Abbiatense   – to encourage their social, cultural and environmental growth by supporting projects of value  to the community and promoting the development of networks between public and private actors aimed at the wellbeing of the territory.

Fondazione Ticino Olona is one of the sixteen   Community Foundations   that Fondazione Cariplo, inspired by the US model of the   Community Foundations, has promoted throughout Lombardy and in the provinces of Novara and VCO with the aim of stimulating their civil and philanthropic development. 

From 2006 to 2021 the Ticino Olona Foundation:

– supported more than 2,000 projects by making contributions of more than EUR 9 million;
– collected more than 2,300 donations with a total value of over 3.4 million;
