1 – Purchasing on Amazen.shop

Products purchased on amazen.shop are sold directly by the company THE ZEN SRL, duly registered at the Milan companies register on MI-1895675 VAT no. 06478340968 – registered office in via Melchiorre Gioia 168, Milan. The prices shown in the Shopping Cart are in Euro and are normally inclusive of VAT; the same Total shown in the Shopping Cart is summarised in the order form that the Customer must confirm in order to conclude the contract through payment.

  • – Purchasing Procedure

1.To conclude the purchase contract on www.amazen.shop you need to complete the electronic order form on amazen.shop

2. The contract is always concluded when THE ZEN receives the Order Form and the relevant payment.

3. The responsibility for verifying the details of the Order lies with the Customer.

The customer is obliged to check the shopping cart carefully before placing it in order to verify the correspondence between the configuration details of the items ordered and his or her living requirements; Customer Service is at the customer’s complete disposal for any further information.

4. In the very rare circumstance in which a product chosen by the purchaser is no longer available at the time the order form is sent, THE ZEN will refund the amount already paid in advance.

5. By telematically transmitting the order form, the purchaser undertakes to observe all the General Terms and Conditions of Sale on this page.

6. The on-line sales contract between the Customer and the Supplier is concluded in Italy and governed by Italian law.

7. If you do not agree with any of the terms in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, please do not place your order and contact the amazen staff for any clarification.

3 – Amendments to the Order

Any changes to the Order (both to the content of the delivery and the method of dispatch) must necessarily be assessed and authorised on a case-by-case basis: in the event of authorisation of a change, a Change Fee of € 50.00 (regardless of the size of the order or the size of the change request) shall be charged. Invoicing data entered in the order may only be changed until the invoice is issued.

Total or partial refunds are made with the same type of payment chosen at the time of ordering (Credit Card or Bank Transfer). The currency used for the reimbursement is always the Euro (even in the case of transactions in a different currency); the amount received by THE ZEN minus bank and shipping charges is credited back.

4 – Shipments and Deliveries

The dispatch procedure is deemed to have started automatically when the courier/transporter takes the order.

Orders with Withdrawal to Stock must be collected within 30 days of receipt of the notice of product availability. The delivery of the supply is only started once the order has been paid for and   carried out by specialised couriers; the Standard Delivery service is intended for delivery at street level (at the ground floor, at the point closest to the entrance of your home that can be reached by the delivery vehicle).

THE ZEN reserves the right to open some packages for sample checks by photographing the products, if necessary, and is legally responsible for the goods until delivery.

The customer can pick up the stock directly at our premises, even for deliveries with final destination outside the European Union.

5 – Shipping Costs

The Delivery Services Box form contained in the Shopping Cart indicates an estimate of the shipping cost: Standard Shipping means shipment at street level to destinations that do not fall within the so-called Special Locations

THE ZEN checks the shipping address entered and informs the Customer of any surcharges for Special Locations, in which case the Customer has the right not to confirm the Order.

6 – Delivery Time

The Delivery Time is the sum of the Supply Time   with the declared Delivery Time.

In view of the nature of the goods (a nature that characterises ALL goods for sale on amazen.shop), an ‘additional period appropriate to the circumstances‘ is provided for by law within which any delay in supply is deemed ‘reasonable in the circumstances“: THE ZEN undertakes to deliver the goods within 5 days from the deadline agreed with the Customer (resulting from the sum of the Procurement Time, Shipping Time and any interruptions due to summer holidays, Christmas holidays or force majeure); after this deadline, the Customer may withdraw from the contract without penalty and THE ZEN will re-credit the amount previously paid by the Customer (for orders comprising several products that do not complement each other or that belong to different categories, the Customer may withdraw from the purchase of only those products that are delayed). The amazen Customer Service will regularly update the Customer on the progress of the order: if before the expiry of the 30-day period of the first additional period   the Customer adequately informed decides consciously to wait for the delivery of the products, he/she will not be able to withdraw from the contract within an additional period of 30 days.

THE ZEN constantly strives to meet the specified deadlines and even to anticipate them.

Finally, we would like to point out that productions and deliveries scheduled in the periods prior to Christmas or summer holidays may be subject to substantial delays related to the contingency of the period (even a minor unforeseen delay before a closing period such as the Christmas holidays or the August closure may cause delivery to be delayed until the January and September reopenings).
The times indicated here do not include service interruptions resulting from atmospheric events (snowfalls, hurricanes, tornadoes, cyclones, storm surges, typhoons), natural events (floods, landslides, avalanches, earthquakes), health events (national health emergencies, pandemics) and other ‘human’ events of an exceptional nature (strikes, demonstrations, riots, civil war, curfew status). Service interruptions resulting from the events described interrupt the running of the delivery periods described in this paragraph.

7 – Restrictions on Use

The amazen.shop staff is constantly working to update the information presented.

It is our daily responsibility to work towards ever greater accuracy and degree of detail, but it is also the customer’s responsibility to ensure the veracity of details that are deemed essential to their satisfaction and necessary to proceed with the purchase: as non-exhaustive examples, the case of purchasing goods to complete products or collections already in possession (where the customer is required to check the matching and colour compatibility), goods with measurements slightly smaller than the available space (where the customer is required to contact us for a dimensional check of the product and possibly advice on the criteria for taking measurements in the environment), or even the rare case of any Product Data Sheets that contain discordant information in different places on the sheet itself (the Customer must read the entire Product Sheet);

The tiered navigation (the selection tool on the left-hand side of each product category page) is to be understood as mere support in skimming the assortment and selection of the desired article: the wording or characteristics indicated by these filters may not exactly represent the characteristics of the article; what is described in the individual product sheets is binding in this respect.

All manufacturers, suppliers to THE ZEN srl, work continuously to improve the products offered, and therefore reserve the right to make changes without prior notice if these changes do not significantly alter the content of the products and their use

THE ZEN reserves the right to make changes to the names of certain products or parts thereof in order to comply with any agreements with manufacturers.

8 – Right of Withdrawal

What is illustrated on this page is taken from   Legislative Decree No. 21 of 2014, in force since 26 March 2014, and issued in implementation of the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU. The consumer has the right to withdraw from any distance contract, without penalty and without specifying a reason, within 14 days from the day of delivery to the consumer. The right of withdrawal is exercised by sending written notice (also by e-mail) to THE ZEN SRL within the deadline.

The consumer cannot exercise the right of withdrawal for “made-to-measure or clearly personalised goods” (Art. 59 above-mentioned decree) and for “non-prefabricated goods produced on the basis of an individual choice or decision by the consumer” (Art. 2 above-mentioned directive).

The right of withdrawal may also not be exercised on   sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons   of hygiene or health protection and have been opened after delivery. Finally, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised on “non-personalised” goods in the following cases: contracts that do not fall under the Consumer Legislation (goods purchased with a VAT number for professional purposes); contracts negotiated and concluded at the premises of AMAZEN; contracts negotiated and concluded at the premises of THE ZEN and concluded by means of online “distance” order entry.

The consumer is obliged to return the goods at his own expense to THE ZEN within 14 days of exercising the right of withdrawal and is liable for any diminution in value resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. If the right of withdrawal is exercised by the consumer in accordance with the provisions set out herein, THE ZEN shall reimburse the amount paid except for the additional costs claimed by the Customer and the shipping costs.

Reimbursement takes place within 14 days of the exercise of the right of withdrawal if the consumer has fulfilled his obligation to return the goods within 14 days of the exercise of his right.

9 – Warranty

The products are accompanied by   regular sales invoice valid for the legal warranty, issued by THE ZEN Srl pursuant to the Consumer Code.

The products must be used correctly in accordance with their intended use: the packaging must always contain a product sheet with indications to that effect, but in the absence of such a sheet it is the responsibility of the Customer to contact our Customer Service. THE ZEN works to intervene as quickly as possible: at the same time we refer to the production and management schedules of our suppliers. In cases of replacement or return of a product, it is the Customer’s responsibility to properly pack the returned parts to avoid damage and to bear the shipping costs for the return of the product; the costs of returning the product to the Customer are borne by THE ZEN

13. Electronic Invoicing Policy

As of 1 January 2019, the generalised electronic invoicing obligation is in force and therefore, after issuance, the invoice will be immediately transmitted to the Inland Revenue via the Sistema di Interscambio (SDI). When placing the order, the data required for issuing the invoice are requested, including the tax code for private individuals and the VAT number, recipient code or Pec for companies. Invoicing data entered in the order can only be changed until the invoice is issued, which occurs upon verification of the first payment.
Immediately after being issued, the invoice is transmitted to the SDI, which carries out formal checks on the data present and sends the document electronically to the customer. If the invoice is rejected, the new data must be communicated within 5 days of notification. A rejected invoice is considered as ‘not issued’, and Amazen.shop is then obliged to request a correction of the data from the Customer, THE ZEN reserves the right to issue a Fiscal Receipt to account for the payment received (in such cases, the issue of an invoice will no longer be possible)
